Heyborne, Sadie

These past few weeks have been wild. Lots of ups and downs... I left Canelones, but now I'm onto my last area... CARRASCO.  I cannot believe I'm here! Carrasco is a city in Montevideo (the capital of Uruguay) and is literally the richest part of Uruguay. The houses are MANSIONS! It's a lot different than the countryside part of Uruguay that I've lived in for 16 months. I'm now with a new companion, fresh out of the mtc! Her name is Hermana Torres and she's from Columbia! I love her so much. Together we're opening this area and it has been crazy let me tell you hahaha. But we have been seeing so many little miracles. The ward here has the best members. Seriously. I'm so sad I'm only going to be here for 3 more weeks because even though the work is hard, I've already fallen in love with the members and the pretty views of Carrasco. I now live in a super nice apartment right next to the beach. The neighbors are awesome, the bathroom is suuuuper nice...

Hey guys! It's been a great couple of weeks over here! Time sure is flying by. We had 3 more friends get baptized: Sara, José, and Álvaro! The work is really moving along here in Canelones! What a privilege to be a part of these many miracles :') This week i start my last transfer (6 weeks) as a missionary. Wow. So many feelings. I have been super grateful for my mission and how it has strengthened my testimony of the Savior. His life, death, and resurrection bring me so much hope. He lives!  "But  there is a resurrection , the grave hath no victory, and  the sting of death is swallowed up in Christ .  He is the light and the life of the world ." Mosiah 16:8-9 I love you all!! Hey you guys!! It's been a sec! Here in Uruguay the summer is going strong! This week we got hit with a heat wave and let me tell you I've never sweat more in my life. It's 100 degrees outside with 80% humitidy!! Sure do miss the pool. We've had 2 baptisms here in the past few weeks! I always love the spirit I feel when someone gets baptized. We've got another friend named Alvaro that is wanting to be baptized too! He is the cutest grandpa. We showed him how to study the scriptures using the gospel library app and a few days later went to visit him. He told us he was in Alma!! he's so cute you guys. We are so happy because we have never seen someone actually read the book of Mormon so fast. Pray for him that all will go well!! I also got a new companion! Hermana Cary from Peru!! Happy Monday! How is everyone? Summer has definitely started down here! This week was one of the hottest yet. On Tuesday I left the house without a hat on. Bad mistake. I got sunburned so badly my eyelids are swollen! Hahah I think I've learned my lesson. Send some snow my way please!  This week I hit my 15 month mark. I can't believe how fast time is flying by.
