ONE MONTH

It's so crazy to think I've been a missionary for a month!! I love it so much!! This week my comps and I got called as the sister training leaders over our mtc zone. We got 3 new districts on Tuesday and 2 of them are native Spanish speaking districts. it was terrifying because we had to give a presentation for all the new missionaries IN SPANISH!! We were so scared hahaha because we don't even know how to explain the mtc in english. The good news is we survived!!! And the Latinos seemed to understand!! The gift of tongues is real!!


This week I've been reading in Mosiah. Everyone should go read Mosiah 2!!! I love this chapter so much. King Benjamin is speaking to his people and I love verse 24 that says, "ye should do as he hath commanded you; for which if ye do, he doth immediately bless you." God gives us commandments that he wants us to follow, and if we do God is immediately going to bless us. I love this thought that God is just waiting to give us blessings.


Iḿ so jealous of the cold weather you guys are having!! It's been really nice here at the CCM... a little too nice because I got sunburnt badddd today playing volleyball with my district (picture included) I love all you guys so so much though!! Hi guys!!! I finally made it to Uruguay!! I've been here for about a week and a half now!! My area is Rocha which I think is about 3 hrs from Montevideo. The people here are so nice and patient with my spanish, especially my companion. She's from Idaho and is the nicest ever!  We went on exchanges this week and I spent the day with another hermana in San Carlos. She has been here only 6 weeks longer than me so we are both still learning spanish! Im still shocked that our companions trusted us enough to be in charge of an area for a day but it all worked out. Not gonna lie it was way scary going around trying to teach people when we had no clue what anyone was saying!!! The people here looooove to talk and tell stories and so it's a stressful guessing game trying to choose which facial expression to make while they're telling me stories because I never can tell if they're sad stories or happy ones. Hahaha please pray for my spanish. Being in Uruguay is so cool though...

Happy Monday! How is everyone? Summer has definitely started down here! This week was one of the hottest yet. On Tuesday I left the house without a hat on. Bad mistake. I got sunburned so badly my eyelids are swollen! Hahah I think I've learned my lesson. Send some snow my way please!  This week I hit my 15 month mark. I can't believe how fast time is flying by. Praying For Rain

Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing well! This week was so awesome! We found 7 new people to teach and are so excited because we are finally seeing success in our area! It's definitely been a struggle though because the heat is so intense!! Apparently there is a big drought going on right now and so they're starting to shut the water off in different cities near my area.  Our mission leaders had us all buy emergency water today so that we can all be prepared because we don't know when they will turn off the water or for how long..... ahhh pray for us here in Uruguay!!  I miss you all!!
