Miracles

Hey everyone!

We had lots of little miracles this week! My favorite experience though was on Friday. It was the hottest day of the week for us and all of our lessons had been cancelled. We planned other visits after but then all those fell through also. We were walking around literally all of Santa Lucia in the hot sun just sweating and wishing someone would let us in. We knocked doors and talked to so many different people but it seemed like nobody wanted to talk to us. It was so sad. We were absolutely exhausted and had just sat down on a bench to contemplate our lives hahah when my companion turned to me and said "we need a miracle!" We just kinda laughed it off because we always need miracles in the mission but if anything we did need one that day because we were struggling hahaha. Then all of a sudden we looked up and saw the most beautiful sunset ever!!! You guys it was like 20 minutes of pure heaven. I've never seen a sunset like it. Everything was just glowing red and orange. Literally it was almost like fire. It was so pretty. You guys words or pictures cant even describe how beautiful it was. (Pics below) we realized that it was God's way of showing us that He is aware of us, and even though we secretly wanted a miracle of finding the golden investigator that is ready for baptism, we need to trust in His plan and in his timing. He knows us and even on the hard days he wants to bless us, even if it's something little or not what we hoped. And this sunset was our little miracle

This week we ended up sharing Helaman 5:12 with a lot of people. And everytime i read it I remember how great a scripture it is. "And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall." Wow isn't that so powerful?? Everytime we share it with people it always just ends up being so perfect. This is my new favorite scripture if you can't tell. We need to remember Christ and remember that when we center ourselves in Christ, we will overcome any obstacle we face.

Love you all! have a great week:):):) send me pictures!!!
