SANTA LUCIA
Wow what a crazy week!
We had transfers and I got moved to Santa Lucia! We were totally not expecting it because usually trainers stay with their greenies for at least 3 months! It was seriously so sad though because we went to bed Monday night so happy and so pumped to work this week. I felt like we had just finally gotten into the groove of things in Rocha. We had just found some awesome investigators that I love with all my heart! Only to wake up Tuesday morning to transfer news, we were absolutley so sad! We had to say goodbye to all of our friends and the members and pack up our apartment to leave the next day! I don't know why I didn´t realize that the mission would be full of goodbyes but I guess that's going to be my life for the next 18months...! Ahhh it's so heartbreaking hahha.
I absolutely love my new area though. And my new companion especially! She is from Paraguay and is literally the cutest ever. It's been a little hard because sometimes I struggle to communicate but things are going so great right now and Im excited to see all the miracles in Santa Lucia!
This week I read in 1 Nephi 9:5-6 and I love it so much! It says, "Wherefore, the Lord hath commanded me to make these plates for a wise purpose in him, which purpose I know not. But the Lord knoweth all things from the beginning, wherefore, he prepareth a way to accomplish all his works among the children of men, for behold, he hath all power unto the fulfilling of all his words." How perfect for this week! It was really hard for me because I was upset to leave my area and thought that I needed to be there for these people. But I have to learn to trust in the Lord. He knows these people and He knows where I need to be. and this scripture was such a great example for me this week:):):)
Anyways I love you all!! Hope you all are doing well
