CANELONES

Happy Monday! I hope everyone is doing well!

This week I got transferred...!! I was not expecting it at all, I thought for sure I would stay in Florida for the holidays. Not gonna lie, this transition to my new area was pretty rough! It's always hard for me to leave my areas because i just love the people so much- the friends we teach, the members, even the random neighbor that sells fruits on the street corner. You'd think that after all this time as a missionary i'd get used to change or that it would at least get easier. But leaving florida has been the hardest so far.

I'm now onto my 8th area and trying to have a positive attitude! Not gonna lie last transfer was probably my favorite in my whole mission. Now my new area is not quite on the same level as my old one but I'm here and ready to work! My new area is called Canelones and it's the neighboring town of Santa Lucía, one of my first areas that I served in a year ago! It was such a tender mercy, I got to see all the members from Santa Lucía this Sunday. It was sooo sweet to see them again, they remembered who I was from a year ago!! It made the transition a little bit better

My new comp is Hermana Aranda from Argentina!! Woohoo!!

Through it all, I know God has a plan for me! I have been blessed to have served in Florida and invite others to come to know Christ. Even though change is hard, the mission is such a beautiful experience. God lives and loves us and sent us His son. What a privilege to get to serve Him in Uruguay this Christmas season!

I love you all and wish you a merry Christmas!!
